AIRPORT

Air transport in the province is served by Surigao Airport located four (4) kilometers from the city. Presently, the airline operates in Surigao City is Asian Spirit via Cebu to Surigao and vice versa. It has a flights to and from Cebu City and Surigao . In Siargao Island, a macadam feeder airport is located in Sayak, Del Carmen which can accommodate light and other smaller aircrafts.

The airport in Surigao City will have to be expanded and upgraded at an estimated cost of 10,000,000.00 to accommodate bigger aircrafts. Siargao airport located at Sayak, Del Carmen will be improved to serve the expected arrival of more domestic and foreign tourists in Siargao Island.
